James – Lesson 9

In our last lesson, we discovered the differences between godly and ungodly wisdom. Essentially, a person with ungodly wisdom puts their own desires first, while a person with godly wisdom puts the desires of God and other first. In this lesson, we will see that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). To see how James draws this conclusion, we will consider why people fight, how people “cheat” on God, what repentance looks like, and why passing judgment is not helpful.
