After being arrested for causing a disturbance in Jerusalem, the result of healing a man who couldn’t walk, Peter and John have their defense. They explained that they did not heal the man in their own power, but in the name of Jesus. In addition to letting the religious rulers know that Jesus had the power to heal, they made sure to tell them that salvation only comes through his name.
