James – Lesson 10

I have been inspired to complete the series of lessons in James I began at the start of COVID over a year ago. Here is the 10th lesson with a few more to come!

In our last lesson, we learned that “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). In this lesson, we are invited to consider an area of our lives that may contain hidden pride: our planning and decision-making processes. James wants to encourage us to practice humility while making plans by inviting the Lord into the process. This section is written, primarily, to goal-oriented people but also has important implications for those who like to “go with the flow.”

I hope you enjoy the study!
