(Please arrive early to get settled before a prompt 9am start time.)

What is it?
We will spend 3 hours using inductive Bible study methods to better understand the book of Philemon.
This means, making observations about the text, interpreting what the author meant when he wrote it, finding applications for our lives, and synthesizing our findings.

Why should I come?
The Bible is God’s written revelation for mankind. He gave us His Word to help us understand who He is, what He has done for us, how He wants us to live, and how we can prepare for eternity. The book of Philemon is a short letter that was written to encourage two brothers toward reconciliation. When we better understand a Biblical view of concepts like forgiveness, repentance, and reconciliation, we will be better able to live in harmony with our brothers and sisters in Christ!

What do I need to bring?
While many of the resources will be provided for those who register (including a copy of the Biblical text), you may benefit from bringing your Bible, a pen or pencil, and colored pencils (or crayons, multiple highlighters, etc.).
