Apollos was an eloquent, educated, and passionate Jewish man from Egypt. He heard about Jesus and devoted his life to telling others that Jesus was the Messiah. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him preach, they recognized his gift but saw his limitations, so they took him aside and taught him more of the Gospel story. After his training, he became even better at showing how the Old Testament proved Jesus was Messiah.
Praise the Lord for passionate preachers and for those behind the scenes who taught them the truths of the faith.
