When Peter’s Jewish friends heard that he had spent time with some Gentiles, they criticized him. He explains how God had prepared him for the interaction and how the Holy Spirit had come upon the Gentiles. They became silent and then let God have his rightful glory by recognizing his ability to save those outside the Jewish family.
God did not change when he opened the door for repentance and Faith to the Gentiles. He always planned for the Jewish people to shine his light to the Nations and draw them in.
Jesus came to call sinners to repentance.
If you are a sinner, there is hope for you!
