Mars Hill (Poem)

The God who made the world and all within,
does not live in a temple made by men.
Nor is He served by man’s designs,
but He appointed each one’s time.

Now all should seek the Lord and hope to find
a faithful Friend who is both just and kind.
For in Him we all have our being.
Some poets say “we’re His offspring.”

These times of ignorance He does or’look,
Though worthless idols His right glory took.
But soon will come the Man who rose,
to judge His unrepentant foes.

Acts 17:24-31
